Architecture / 02
Follow the number. Understand the authority.
A working telephone service crosses several systems. DOMAINTAINS makes its own part explicit, so each step can be authorised and verified by the right system.
One relationship. Separate authorities.
A choice, not an allocation.
The customer chooses a service and expresses a number preference. The operator must independently authenticate them and verify that the product and resource belong to them.
Selecting an offer does not reserve a number or authorise a PBX.
Read the authority model ↗Discovery is the beginning, not the transaction.
The number provider supplies availability. The customer selects a preference. The operator checks eligibility and keeps scoped offer evidence, but neither the search nor checkout verification allocates a number.
A subscription is not a configured PBX.
The operator must confirm the commercial relationship, allocation and activation prerequisites. A compatible authorisation service then tells the PBX which configuration it may apply. Installing the module alone does not grant that entitlement.
Configuration is not proof of a call.
DOMAINTAINS verifies its local changes. The operator must separately prove carrier routing, SIP-edge authority and live call behaviour. Emergency address submission must also be distinguished from confirmed carrier registration.
Read the integration architectureProvisioning is a sequence of checks
Create is not verify.
Retry is not reset.
Local reconciliation has a controlled success path and an equally important failure path.
- 01 / VALIDATE
Accept authority
Validate the provider response before local application.
Remote failure: retain prior state - 02 / RECORD
Persist pending
Retain newly authorised state before changing FreePBX.
Evidence survives interruption - 03 / COMPARE
Check ownership
Compare native objects with recorded fingerprints.
Unexpected state: stop - 04 / APPLY + INSPECT
Verify the result
Record provisioned only after complete local verification.
Local failure: retain pending
Recover from evidence. Inspect the actual state, repair the prerequisite and retry deliberately. Never erase signing identity, ownership or provider operation records to force success.
