Real search logic.
Transparent simulation.

The unchanged search engine calls an in-memory fixture transport. Each simulated batch has a 420 ms delay, so Search and Stop have meaningful states. This is not a model of carrier response time or the server-side five-second limiter.

Search
At most six sequential requests per explicit click, with all-term OR filtering.
Cached offers
Known browse offers can seed results without a new request.
Local paging
See more and See less change visibility only. They do not request another batch.
Cancellation
Stop aborts the pending local simulation. A real carrier request already sent cannot be retracted.

This bounded in-memory trace is not production auditing. It is not persisted or transmitted. It records returned batches, not allocations or reservations.

Most recent requests

No fixture requests yet.

    01

A search that widens your options.

A number can match any of the three patterns. Only digits after the selected area code count. Try 12, 23 and 123 in the London fixture to see overlapping matches. Invalid and duplicate patterns remain visible so they can be corrected.

    02

    Progress without uncontrolled requests.

Browse batches contain up to 20 numbers. Search checks bounded positions; Find more continues explicitly. See more and See less expand and collapse results already found. A selected later-page result stays visible when the list is collapsed.

    03

    The real model, local data.

This lab uses the public search engine with a local, abortable fixture transport and simulated delay. It demonstrates the control model, not carrier inventory, carrier-rate timing or production acceptance.
